we use the phrase “mother of all ____” to describe the magnitude of something grand. so, this card is for one mother of a mother. based on a photo of my grandmother from the 40s.
son of a gun
this greeting card is based on a photo of my late grandfather, ralph crafton (shown in image gallery). it was in taken in the mid 40s when he was in his twenties. this, so my dad explains to me, was his halloween costume that year. yes, the facial hair is real.

this greeting card is based on a photo of my great aunt lil from the 40s (shown in image gallery). i don’t know much about what’s going in the photo, except that she has obviously forced the lake to submit to her will.
