i went to the nyc transit museum this past weekend with my family. if you live in new york or are in the area, this is a must do. you can read and see more about our experience at the museum here. i was surprised to find that there were ads in the subway even back in the day. i thought that would have been something our modern marketeers cooked up for us. the ad featured here today (click header) especially caught my attention with it’s limited color palette and that “hey kids!” style of design. nice work mr. old school designer, wherever you are.
