edward tufte is an information design guru. he has a magical way of taking dry boring data and turning into interesting works of, art, really. also on his site, he has information design created by others. i really enjoy this graphic representation of napoleon’s march to moscow by charles joseph minard. be sure to read the information that the site gives about this poster. very fresh, even for being created in 1869.
