when passing the alcoholic beverage section in a grocery store, my wife michelle will often observe that the packaging is very tantalizing. i must say i agree. take this packaging for slate distilling co. (click banner) designed by design enterprise ig. i’m especially pleased with some of the detail in the typography. notice the angle-sliced (that’s technical design-speak right there; write that one down) ascenders and arms on some of the characters, and how they mirror the slant of the arms on the “s.” very nicely done.
