“blossom” by annie swincinski

the holidays now being over, i will return to my regularly scheduled blogging. seeing that i have been increasingly fascinated with handmade, and have taken up linocut printing again, i will dedicate the next three days of this week to linocut artists, the first being annie swincinski. two of annie’s prints that i find particularly striking are blossom and blue bird. annie says this about herself; “my most recent obsession is print making. i have been pulling all prints by hand so far. i’m still learning so much all the time and i hope to have many more prints (available) soon.” keep up the great work annie.

This blog is absolutely beautiful. I mean just stunning. Thank you for the mention of my work. i am honored. I could sit and view all of the design work you have posted on here for days on end. I love love love graphic design but was never the best at it. Thus I began to try and mesh graphic arts and printmaking together to find my own style.
