truthful, memorable, useful, and beautiful…

operating a design company in nyc (williamsburg, brooklyn to be exact) is wonderful for a host of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that we’re exposed to design of all sorts virtually everywhere we go. we’ve embraced the challenge of designing in such a competitor-filled market as nyc, but being in this market brings the temptation for us to produce design that may be deceptive and/or unsavory in nature.

so our immersion into the design world here prompted us to establish a set of core ideals early on to guide us in our business relationships with clients (both prospective and current). these four principles guide everything we do here at lfb. they allow us to detach emotions from business decisions and collectively work as a compass of sorts to keep us sailing in a confident, sustainable direction.

our clients know what they’re getting when they partner with us to concept and produce their brand image or specific project design: we’re not going to deceive their audience and we’re not going to be thoughtless in our approach. we are going to do whatever it takes to produce design that is truthful, memorable, useful, and beautiful.

we have the privilege of working with many organizations across a wide range of industries including non-profit, architecture and fabrication, public relations, law, health, technology, and advertising who epitomize these four values and challenge us to continually step up our game. i’ll expand on each of these individual values in the near future, but wanted to give a brief fly-over of how we do things.

if you know us, have partnered with us, want to partner with us, or are a casual viewer of our design; hold us accountable and critique our work in light of these values. we’ll listen.
